What happens in a Glacē Facial
The Glacē Facial is done on the Glacē system by Candela, step by step in one appointment: your skin is cleansed, exfoliated, pores are cleared, and hydrating serums go in at the end.
There are no needles and no downtime. Most people leave with skin that looks clearer and more hydrated, and go straight back to their day. Your skin can look a little flushed for a short while.

What your visit looks like
Every plan here starts with a skin analysis and a health history, and our medical director, Viola Hysa, MD, oversees every client profile. Serums are chosen from your analysis, not a default package. If another treatment would do more for your skin, we'll say so.
Who should wait
We'll usually ask you to wait, or we'll plan around it, if:
- You have a rash, sunburn, cold sore or broken skin on your face.
- You've had a peel, laser or microneedling on your face very recently.
- You've taken isotretinoin recently. Tell us at your analysis.
After your appointment
- Most people go straight back to their day.
- Keep your routine gentle for a day, and wear sunscreen.
- We'll tell you how often a Glacē Facial makes sense for your skin. Your plan sets it.
Questions
Does it hurt?
Most people find it relaxing. If anything is uncomfortable, tell us and we'll adjust.
How many sessions will I need?
We'll tell you after your skin analysis, not before. It depends on your skin and what you want changed, and a number quoted before anyone's looked at you is a guess.
Glacē Facial or a custom facial?
The Glacē Facial uses the Glacē system for a deeper clean and hydration in one pass. A custom facial is hands-on and built around your skin. Both start from your analysis.
Can I get one before an event?
Yes, it's a good choice a few days before, since there's no downtime. Let us know the date when you book.
Is it OK for sensitive skin?
Often, yes, with adjustments. Sensitive skin is looked at in person first, and we'll tell you if something gentler would suit you better.
